Lavender Festival FAQs
What varieties of Lavender grow on your farm?
We grow both English & French cultivars. We have Hidcote, Munstead, Fat Spike, Provence, Dutch, & Edelweiss.
Can I bring pets?
We love pets too - unfortunately however, pets can not be accommodated during the lavender festival.
Can I bring food or drinks?
Bottled water is encouraged & can be brought to the event. Other food & drinks are not permitted.
Can I bring pop-up tents?
Due to the usual high winds, pop-up tents are not permitted.
What is included in my ticket?
Included in an entry ticket to the lavender festival you will receive everything listed: parking, unlimited lavender lemonade, a tasting of our distillery products including LAVENDER GIN and LAVENDER VODKA, access to the lavender fields for photos and enjoying the aroma, 70 plus craft vendors, food trucks, live music, numerous demonstrations & seminars, make your own bath salt, water color painting, & lavender hydrosol sample.
Can I bring a stroller?
Strollers are permitted on the grounds but not in the lavender fields.
Can I pick lavender?
In order to maintain the beauty of the gardens for both days of the festival, visitor are not permitted to pick their own flowers. Fresh lavender will be available for purchase. Visit the winery during business hours after the festival for pick your own lavender.
What should I bring?
We recommend guests bring water, sunscreen, bug spray, hats, sunglasses, parasols, ponchos in the event of rain, picnic blankets, and lawn chairs.
Can I visit the lavender field on a different day than the festival?
The lavender field is not open to the public. Tickets to visit the field on other dates can be purchased in the winery tasting room during the winery open hours.
Is free parking available?
Free parking is available for all ticketed guests.
Are wine and beer available for purchase?
Glasses and bottles of wine as well as pints of beer will be available for purchase during the event.
Are wine tastings available?
Wine tastings will not be available during the lavender festival. FREE spirit tastings are available for guests over the age of 21. Feel free to visit anytime during our regular winery hours to enjoy our wine tastings & beer flights.
What is the cost of admission?
Early bird special pricing is available while supplies last. $22 for entry. Standard pricing will begin March 1st, or when early bird tickets sell out. Standard pricing will be $25 for entry.
Is there public transportation available?
There are no bus stops or trains in the vicinity of Springfield Manor. Parking lots can accommodate party buses for guests who wish to arrange carpools.
Are checks and credit cards accepted? (ATM?)
Beverages purchased directly from Springfield Manor may be purchased with cash, check, or credit card. Craft and food vendors may or may not have credit card/check capability. No ATM available onsite.
Where can I find a schedule of events?

Can I leave the event a re-gain entrance?
You will be issued a wristband upon arrival. The wristband will give you the ability to leave and come back later that same day.
Does the event run rain or shine?
The Lavender Festival will take place on June 22nd and 23rd, regardless of the weather conditions. We recommend bringing appropriate gear for predicted weather.
Are there restrooms on the property?
There will be portable restrooms available for all festival guests.
Is the Lavender Festival handicap accessible?
The farm fields are natures terrain and are not handicap accessible. The winery terrace is fully accessible, however the vendor area is located in a gravel parking lot. The festival is a farm event and is spread over a generous expanse of land.
Is the event outdoors? Is there shade/AC?
The entire event will be hosted outdoors. Shaded areas include umbrellas on the patio as well as the dining and presentation tents. You may also bring your own handheld umbrella. There is no air conditioning at the festival.
How can I become a vendor?
Email Valerie@springfieldmanor.com with a list of products or services that you wish to sell. If space is available you will be sent the application.
What can I expect from my Lavender Festival experience?
The lavender festival will provide for a relaxing, peaceful, stress free day of enjoying the beautiful purple haze of the lavender festival. You may enjoy sipping some of Springfield Manor’s award winning wine or beer, or sampling our distilled spirits. Carefully selected craft vendors provide for a unique shopping experience. Live music from local bands will add to the festival atmosphere.
What type of ID is required?
A valid government-issued ID is required for all guests over the age of 21 wishing to consume alcoholic beverages.
Are tickets available at the entrance?
Tickets must be purchased in advance and often sell out weeks in advance. Tickets are NOT available at the gate.
I bought a ticket for Sunday can I use it Saturday?
Tickets are only valid on the day shown on the ticket.
Is the event family friendly?
Tickets are required for all guests including children two and over. Children must be attended to at all times.

Is there live music?
Yes! There is live music from 9-12 and from 12-4!
Can we take family photos in the lavender field?
Due to the popularity of the event, professional pictures will be difficult to achieve during the event as lots of guests will be enjoying the field.
